University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA seeks an on-site DES Supervisor to lead the Diner operations, mentor staff, and ensure exceptional guest experiences. The role directs frontline staff and student employees, coordinating schedules, training, and performance feedback while maintaining food safety and health standards.

The DES Supervisor will support the Dining Services Manager with administrative tasks, troubleshoot equipment, and uphold university policies across shifts.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent with two years supervisory/lead experience in high-volume restaurant environments.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computers.

Aufgaben

• Supervise daily Diner operations with focus on customer service and training.
• Train and supervise staff and student workers.
• Create and adjust weekly staff schedules; arrange replacements.
• Manage the Get Mobile Ordering app and menu items.
• Ensure health, safety, and food storage compliance.
• Handle budget awareness and cost controls.
