Job summary

Westminster-Canterbury on Chesapeake Bay & Senior Options, LLC is seeking a Dining Room Supervisor to lead dining service teams across our campuses. You will manage staffing, training, scheduling, and day-to-day operations with a focus on hospitality, resident satisfaction, and teamwork.

Ideal candidate has 2 years of leadership and 2 years in hospitality, ServSafe & CPR certification, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of leadership experience.
• Two years of hospitality industry experience.
• ServSafe & CPR certified, or will become certified in the first year of employment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• Knowledge of dining room service techniques and sanitation.
• Neat, clean, and professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Embraces Westminster-Canterbury’s community philosophy as the foundation for managing dining venues and service teams.
• Supervises Dining Room Team members and oversees daily service operations, ensuring standards are met.
• Manages staffing, scheduling, hiring, training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
• Supports the professional growth and development of team members through coaching and training.
• Leads pre-meal huddles and remains visible to support the team during meal periods.
• Builds relationships with residents and guests and addresses feedback about service and food quality.
• Ensures proper health, sanitation, cash-handling, and operational procedures.
• Coordinates décor, menus, and events with Restaurant Manager.
• Oversees dining venues’ operation and maintenance of POS systems.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
