Job summary

Stanford University’s Residential & Dining Enterprises (R&DE) seeks an experienced customer-service leader to ensure high-quality dining operations. This on-site role leads a standalone unit with strong emphasis on guest satisfaction and teamwork.

You will supervise front-of-house staff, manage daily operations for units with revenue targets, ensure health and safety standards, support menu development, and contribute to customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Two years of successful experience in a customer service industry.
• Knowledge of food service management and techniques for an institutionalized operation.
• ServSafe CA Certification.

Responsibilities

• Uphold customer service standards and resolve inquiries, concerns, and complaints; conduct daily interactive discussions.
• Collect, input and review data to guide daily decisions and oversee department revenue and expenses.
• supervise and train a diverse front-of-house and kitchen staff; schedule and oversee shifts.
• Contribute to menu and marketing development with suggestions for seasonal and special menus.
• Ensure health and safety standards, sanitation, equipment maintenance, and code compliance.
