Job summary

Eurest in Seattle seeks a Director of Dining Services to lead the on-site food service operation for corporate dining venues. The role directs salaried managers and hourly staff, ensures client and customer satisfaction, and drives cost-effective operations aligned with quality standards.

Responsibilities include budgeting, menu and service oversight, sanitation and HACCP compliance, and liaison with clients to meet performance expectations.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Food Services Technology/Management or A.A. with four years related experience.
• Five to seven years of direct foodservice operations management with inventory/purchasing knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of food/catering trends, quality, sanitation, and food cost controls.
• P&L accountability or contract-managed service experience desirable.
• Strong supervisory, leadership and coaching skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to interact with management, clients, customers and staff at multiple levels.
• Excellent financial, budgeting, accounting and computational skills.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office, email, and Internet.

Responsibilities

• Manages salaried managers and hourly associates in the Food Service Department.
• Oversees overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the account.
• Interviews, hires, and trains associates; plans, assigns and directs work; appraises performance.
• Prepares and manages annual budget.
• Utilizes company systems for required reports (inventory, cash, payroll, etc.).
• Oversees preparation and service of food/beverage per HACCP/safety guidelines.
