Job summary

Brookdale Senior Living is seeking a Dining Services Manager (Finance) to lead the dining operations across locations, ensuring quality meals within budget and compliant with safety standards. The role requires coordination of menus, staff, and inventory, along with nutrition education for residents and staff.

You'll need a GED or high school diploma and 2–4 years in kitchen operations or related training; ServSafe certification is required and state certifications may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two to four years experience in commercial kitchen, operation and line cooking, and/or training; or equivalent combination.
• Current ServSafe Certification required; state food service certification where applicable; ACF CSC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, manages, and coordinates dining services across one or more locations.
• Controls food costs; plans menus; may prepare meals.
• Oversees food preparation to meet company procedures.
• Inspects work areas for food safety and sanitation compliance.
• Maintains inventory and budgets; prepares schedules and training.
• Provides nutrition education to residents and staff; supports QA programs.
