Job summary

Unidine is seeking a Dining Services Manager to lead a team of food service professionals and oversee the main dining room and special functions. You will coordinate interdepartmental relations and align dining services with the facility plan of operation.

In this role you will partner with the Chef and management to design menus, control food costs, and uphold safety and sanitation standards while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• 2 years of food service management experience required.
• Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations preferred.
• Wait staff and catering experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of food and catering trends with focus on quality, cost controls and presentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Financial, budgeting and accounting skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• ServSafe certification is preferred.
• Associate’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee dining services operations of a medium to large location.
• Interact with customers and resolve complaints in a service-oriented manner.
• Assist with budget and P&L matters for this account.
• Collaborate with Chef and management to create menus and ensure quality.
• Coordinate food service activities including sanitation, infection control and facilities tasks.
• Support rollout of new culinary programs with marketing and culinary teams.
• Prepare quarterly client reports and presentations.
• Work with marketing to drive sales through food quality and innovations.
• Ensure programs reflect company vision and standards.
