Job summary

Senior Lifestyle Corporation is seeking a Dining Services Manager to oversee day-to-day dining operations at the community in Illinois. You will manage purchasing, budgeting, and adherence to food safety standards while ensuring residents receive high-quality meals.

Responsibilities include staff hiring and scheduling, enforcing policies, and maintaining health compliance. A Serv Safe certification is preferred, with a focus on hospitality, teamwork, and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of food service experience required.
• Serv Safe and/or other required local, county or state certifications.
• Ability to switch tasks quickly and often.
• Positive and professional attitude with clear direction.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and control day-to-day operations of all dining services operations at the community.
• Purchase of all dining food and nonfood items; ensure 95% DSSI ordering compliance.
• Balance and maintain budgets for raw food and supplies.
• Ensure food served at proper temperatures and portions for safety and palatability.
• Adhere to health department regulations and act as dietary representative for inspections.
• Interview, train, hire, discipline, and terminate dining staff as needed.
• Oversee scheduling of all food service personnel to maintain labor budget.
