Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Dining Services Assistant Manager to support the dining operations at a long-term care facility. You will help supervise staff, ensure food quality and safety, and deliver excellent resident experiences.

The role requires strong leadership, knowledge of food safety, and the ability to train teams. You’ll collaborate with residents, families, and colleagues while upholding HCSG policies and standards.

Residency in the service area is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in food service management desirable.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Dining Services Manager in daily operations, including staff supervision and training.
• Ensure compliance with dietary guidelines, food safety standards, and HCSG policies.
• Maintain records of food inventory, costs, and employee schedules.
• Lead staff training on food preparation, service techniques, and safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to enhance the dining experience.
• Conduct regular inspections of food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
• Represent HCSG positively through courteous interactions with residents and guests.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
