Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Dining Services Assistant Manager to support the dining department at a long-term care facility. The role focuses on high-quality food service, safety, and exceptional resident experiences.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, training, inventory control, and ensuring compliance with policies. The position emphasizes teamwork, communication with residents and families, and maintaining a clean, safe dining environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in food service management or similar role encouraged.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with ability to motivate a team.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in dining services.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and report generation.
• Must comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist Dining Services Manager in daily dining operations and staff supervision.
• Ensure compliance with dietary guidelines, food safety standards, and policies.
• Maintain records of inventory, costs, and employee schedules.
• Lead staff training on food prep, service techniques, and safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to improve dining experience.
• Conduct regular inspections of dining areas for cleanliness and organization.
• Represent HCSG positively in interactions with residents and guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
