Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Dining Services Assistant Manager to support daily dining operations at a long-term care facility. You will supervise staff, ensure compliance with dietary guidelines and food safety standards, and help manage inventories and scheduling.

The role emphasizes hands-on training, service excellence, and clear communication with residents, families, and team members. Candidates should have a high school diploma and prior food service supervisory

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in food service management or similar role desired.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Support Dining Services Manager in daily dining operations, including staff supervision and training.
• Ensure compliance with dietary guidelines, food safety standards, and HCSG policies.
• Maintain records of food inventory, costs, and employee schedules.
• Lead staff training sessions on food preparation, service techniques, and safety.
• Communicate with residents, families and staff to enhance dining experience.
• Inspect food service areas for cleanliness and organization.
• Represent HCSG positively in interactions with team members, residents and guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
