Job summary

Senior Lifestyle is seeking a full-time dining services associate in Northbrook, IL to greet residents and guests and oversee service staff. You will ensure a high-quality dining experience in a safe, sanitary environment and help manage daily room service operations.

The role requires 6+ months of food service experience and Serv Safe or equivalent certifications. A positive, professional attitude and the ability to lead staff are essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of previous Food Service experience.
• Management experience is not required but a plus.
• Serv Safe and/or other required local, county or state certifications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operation of dining room(s), room service and convenience store.
• Ensure resident/guest satisfaction by responding quickly to needs and requests.
• Ensure room service orders are delivered timely and properly.
• Ensure smooth and timely opening of the dining room.
• Assist in producing weekly schedules with budgetary guidelines for service staff.
• Lead the training of all new dining room employees.
• Oversee resident billing of food service charges.
• Manage dining staff.
