Job summary

Grace Management, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Dining Services Director for Inspirations of Northbrook, a senior living community in Northbrook, IL. You will oversee dining operations, supervise kitchen staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain quality food service within budget.

This full-time role requires a high school diploma, Serv-Safe, 2 years in food service management, and the ability to plan menus, order supplies, and train staff. Weekend MOD participation may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Serv-Safe Certification required.
• Two years minimum experience in food service management, preferably healthcare.
• Must pass drug test and background check.
• Able to follow standard recipes and dietary restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee dining services and supervise kitchen staff.
• Plan menus and order supplies; manage inventories.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance.
• Direct daily operations and training of dietary personnel.
• Assist with weekend Manager on Duty as needed.
• Maintain equipment and participate in meetings and events.
