Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is hiring a Dining Services Assistant Manager to support the dining operations at a long-term care facility. You will help supervise staff, ensure high standards of food quality and safety, and prioritize resident experience.

You will lead training, monitor inventory and costs, and maintain records. Strong leadership, communication, and knowledge of food safety are essential; residency in the service area preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in food service management or similar role desired.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
• Basic computer skills for records and reports.
• Must comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Dining Services Manager in daily operations.
• Supervise staff, provide training, and ensure service quality.
• Ensure compliance with dietary guidelines and safety standards.
• Maintain records of inventory, costs, and staff schedules.
• Lead staff training on food prep, service techniques, and safety.
• Communicate with residents, families, and staff to improve dining experience.
• Inspect food service areas for cleanliness and organization.
• Represent HCSG positively in interactions with team members, residents, and guests.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
