Morrison Living, part of Compass Group USA, seeks a Director of Dining Services to lead a food service operation with a focus on client satisfaction, cost efficiency, and quality. You will oversee dining functions across multiple areas, ensuring safety, sanitation, and high service standards in a dynamic hospitality setting.

The role requires strong leadership, budget ownership, and excellent communication skills, with extensive experience in foodservice management and compliance with HACCP/OSHA

Qualifications

• B.S. in Food Services/Management or related field; or A.A. with four years related experience.
• 3+ years of direct foodservice operational management experience.
• Strong knowledge of food and catering trends, cost controls, and presentation.
• Knowledge of specialty diets; e.g., purees/moist diets.
• P&L accountability or contract-managed service experience desirable.
• Strong supervisory and communication skills; proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages salaried managers and hourly staff in the Food Service Department.
• Oversees the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the account.
• Interviews, hires, and trains associates; directs work and evaluates performance.
• Prepares and manages annual budget.
• Utilizes company systems for reports (inventory, cash, payroll, etc.).
• Oversees food/beverage prep per standards, HACCP and OSHA guidelines.
• This is a 3.5 day work week with 12 hour shifts.
