Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Food Service Director to lead the dining department at a long-term care facility. You will ensure high food quality, safety, inventory control, and regulatory compliance while guiding a team to deliver exemplary resident experiences.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must obtain Food Protection Manager (FPM) within 14 days of employment.
• Must obtain Food Service Manager (FSM) and LTC-FSM within 60 days of employment.
• CDM certification preferred (or as required by state/county law).
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the food service team to meet quality and safety standards.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, food supplies, personnel, and equipment using HCSG software.
• Conduct staff training, quality control, and in-service sessions; perform roles as needed.
• Communicate directives from client managers, building occupants, and administrators to staff.
• Ensure sanitary conditions, infection control, and handwashing procedures.
• Represent HCSG positively through interactions with supervisors, staff, residents and guests.
• All other duties as assigned.
