Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Dining Services Manager to lead food service operations in a senior living community. You will oversee meal preparation, ensure dietary accommodations, and manage safety and compliance while guiding a dining team to deliver high-quality resident experiences.

The role emphasizes budget oversight, staff development, and engagement with residents and events to create memorable dining experiences.

Responsibilities

• Oversee food preparation and service aligned with Sunrise culinary programs
• Ensure accurate dietary modifications and proper portioning
• Manage food safety, sanitation, HACCP and regulatory compliance
• Maintain inventory, ordering and vendor relationships
• Monitor food and labor budgets to meet financial goals
• Lead, hire, train and coach dining team members
• Coordinate dining room flow and staffing for each meal
• Engage with residents for feedback and participate in Resident Council meetings
• Support special events and community marketing initiatives
