Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Illinois is seeking a Dining Services Manager to lead the community’s dining and hospitality operations. You will deliver high-quality meals, ensure dietary requirements are met, and enhance resident experiences through strong team leadership.

The role focuses on culinary excellence, compliance, and collaborative community engagement, with opportunities to contribute to events and marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee food preparation and service in alignment with Sunrise culinary programs
• Ensure accurate dietary modifications and proper portioning
• Manage food safety, sanitation, HACCP, and regulatory compliance
• Maintain inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships
• Monitor food and labor budgets to meet financial goals
• Lead, hire, train, and coach dining team members
• Coordinate dining room flow and staffing for each meal
• Engage with residents for feedback and participate in Resident Council meetings
• Support special events and community marketing initiatives
