Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a cook to prepare meals that bring residents together while upholding safety and quality standards. You will follow standardized recipes, monitor temperatures, and assist with dining service logistics across busy shifts.

You will contribute to a welcoming dining experience and collaborate with team members to ensure dietary modifications are observed. This full-time role emphasizes growth opportunities and meaningful work within Sunrise community dining.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to standardized recipes and menus
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet Sunrise standards
• Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements
• Record production quantities and food safety temperatures
• Stock, rotate, date, and store food per safety regulations
• Maintain clean kitchen, storage, and equipment areas
• Complete cleaning logs and equipment maintenance reports
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines
• Support dishwashing and dining service as needed
• Lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator

Pay Range: 17.00 - 21.35
