Job summary

Healthcare Services Group is seeking a Dining Services Assistant Manager to support the dining operations at a long-term care facility in Tampa, FL. You will supervise staff, ensure service quality, and help maintain compliance with safety standards.

You will train team members, monitor inventory and costs, and collaborate with residents, families, and colleagues to elevate the dining experience. This on-site role requires leadership, reliability, and a commitment to high standards of food

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in food service management or a similar role is preferred.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in dining services.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and report generation.
• Must comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Responsibilities

• Support the Dining Services Manager in daily operations, including staff supervision and training.
• Ensure compliance with dietary guidelines and food safety standards.
• Maintain records of inventory, costs, and employee schedules.
• Lead staff training on food preparation, service techniques, and safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to enhance dining experience.
• Conduct regular inspections of service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
• Represent HCSG positively through interactions with team members, residents, and guests.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
