Job summary

Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois, seeks an Assistant Manager for Dining Services to schedule, supervise, plan and oversee the work of 20+ staff including students. You will manage inventory, assist with budgeting and staff development, and support events and catering within a busy campus dining operation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 1–3 years of food service management experience.
• Demonstrated food service management, production experience and ServSafe Certification within three months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, supervise, plan, direct and oversee the work of fulltime, temporary and student staff.
• Oversee production and service of quality foods in Dining Services.
• Ensure safety, sanitation and cost controls in all service areas.
