Job summary

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of carpentry experience.
• Ability to read and interpret building specifications and blueprints.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintaining building interiors and exteriors.
• Repair walls, doors, closures, flooring, ceilings, partitions, draperies, etc.
• Measure, cut or shape wood, plastic, fiberglass, drywall and other materials.
• Construct building frameworks, including wall studs, floor joists and door frames.
• Inspect and replace damaged framework and other structures and fixtures.
• Replace glass and repair window systems; roof work and ladder/scaffold tasks.
• Construct shelving, bookcases, and cabinets and repair furniture as needed.
• Perform minor electrical and plumbing repairs.
• Assist other departments with Facilities Services as needed.
