Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Dining Services Assistant Manager to support the dining department at a long-term care facility. You will assist the Dining Services Manager, oversee daily operations, and help maintain high standards of food quality and resident satisfaction.

Requirements include a high school diploma and prior food service management experience. Strong leadership, communication skills, and knowledge of safety guidelines are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in food service management or similar role preferred.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to motivate a team.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and dining services best practices.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist Dining Services Manager in daily operations and staff supervision.
• Ensure adherence to dietary guidelines, safety standards and policies.
• Maintain records of inventory, costs, and employee schedules.
• Lead training sessions on food preparation, service and safety.
• Communicate with residents, families, and staff to enhance dining experience.
• Inspect dining areas for cleanliness and organization.
• Represent HCSG positively in interactions with team and residents.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
