Job summary

Manorhouseretirement in an assisted living and memory care community is seeking a Dining Services Aide to provide a pleasant meal experience for residents. You will prep the dining room, serve meals, and perform light cleaning after meals in a warm, community-focused environment.

The role requires attentive listening, a strong customer-service mindset, and the ability to work evenings, alternating weekends, and some holidays. Training on safety data sheets and Relias will be provided.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of principles for providing customer services including assessments of customer needs and meeting quality standards for services.
• Ability to give full attention to what residents are saying, taking time to understand, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting.
• Understanding of proper table settings for each meal.
• Must be willing and have ability to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, alternating weekends, and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide a pleasant meal experience for residents by serving meals and beverages.
• Prepare dining room for meals and clean dining services areas after meals.
• Maintain consistent and predictable attendance in the dining services program.
• Become familiar with Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for cleaning supplies and attend required training.
• Attend training and Relias training as scheduled.
