Job summary

Stage Management is seeking a Server / Dietary Aide to provide exceptional dining service in a retirement community. This role involves taking meal orders, serving residents with care, and supporting the dietary team for a positive dining experience.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean dining area, helping with simple meal prep, and upholding food safety standards. Valid for a full-time, non-exempt, hourly position with weekday and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service, healthcare dietary services, or senior living is preferred but not required.
• Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Compassion, respect, and professionalism when interacting with residents and staff.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Accurately complete meal ticket orders for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
• Serve meals to residents in a courteous and compassionate manner, honoring dietary needs.
• Bus tables and reset them after residents and guests leave.
• Ensure dining areas are clean, organized, and properly set.
• Support inventory control and assist with receiving and storing food supplies.
• Collaborate with the culinary team by sharing resident feedback and concerns.
