Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities is hiring a Dietary Aide to create an exceptional dining experience for residents and guests. You will take orders, seat and assist residents, deliver meals, and clear dinnerware promptly.

May assist with general cleaning, dishes and food prep. Sanitation certification or the ability to obtain it within 30 days is required or preferred, with weekend/holiday rotation expected.

Qualifications

• Sanitation certification or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire.
• Experience with serving in a restaurant setting preferred.
• Ability to recognize residents’ needs and respond with urgency and compassion.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
• Must have a solid work ethic, positive attitude, and be a good team player.
• Able and willing to work weekend and holiday rotation.

Responsibilities

• Take food and drink orders, seat and assist residents.
• Deliver meals and remove dinnerware from the table in a timely manner.
• May assist with general cleaning, dishes, and food preparation.
