Job summary

King Manor is seeking a Dietary Aide to perform food service duties, maintain sanitary areas, and assist in food preparation. The role includes delivering meals, snacks, and trays to resident areas and dining rooms, while upholding safety and sanitation standards.

Schedule includes every other weekend. Benefits include health insurance, 401K, holiday pay, PTO, and overtime. High-quality, compassionate care is the focus of this team.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and understand directions in English language.
• Previous Food Service Aide experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Reports at assigned time, in uniform, ready for duty.
• Handles food and equipment according to sanitation policies and procedures.
• Is aware of safety regulations and responsibilities in operating all equipment.
• Delivers food carts, trays, etc. to designated areas, including resident rooms and dining room, as instructed by supervisor.
• Serve – in dining rooms.
• Prepare and deliver snacks as directed.
• Assists in daily or scheduled cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Reports any discrepancies in his/her area to department supervisor.
• Ensures that residents and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individuals’ needs and rights.
• Performs related work as assigned.
