Job summary

Heritage Manor Management LLC is seeking a Food Service Assistant to support daily dining operations in our elder care facility. You will help with serving meals, delivering snacks, and ensuring trays and carts are prepared and delivered on schedule.

Responsibilities emphasize following established food policies, maintaining cleanliness, sanitation and safety, and cooperating with kitchen staff, nursing, and resident care teams to provide quality meals and service to residents.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
• Must possess the ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Must be able to interact tactfully with residents, family members, staff and visitors.
• Must maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment and the appearance of work areas.

Responsibilities

• Assist in serving meals in dining room as instructed.
• Deliver snacks and meals to designated areas.
• Prepare and deliver snacks and meals as instructed.
• Assist in setting up meal trays and dining room areas.
• Assist in food preparation for special meals and events.
