Job summary

Cedarhurst Living in Indiana is seeking a courteous Dining Server to deliver exceptional dining experiences for residents and guests. The role emphasizes attentive table service, safety, and cleanliness in daily operations.

You will support meal service, assist with special events, and collaborate with team members to meet residents' dining needs while upholding Cedarhurst’s standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Up to two years of prior experience preferred, senior living experience strongly desired.
• Relevant state or county licensure preferred, with the ability to obtain licensure if required.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, EHR systems, and HR platforms.

Responsibilities

• Assist with catering, room service, special events, and marketing functions, ensuring resident satisfaction.
• Take food and beverage orders and deliver service to residents and guests in a courteous, accurate, and efficient manner.
• Maintain a clean work area and follow all food safety standards.
• Clear, sanitize, and reset tables; complete daily checklists to ensure dining areas are maintained.
• Assist with cleaning dining areas, including floors, tables, and chairs after meals and events.
• Communicate menu details to residents and families.
