Job summary

Hilltop Community Resources in Grand Junction, CO is seeking a Dining Services Supervisor to lead and develop the dining team while ensuring exceptional resident service. You will hire, evaluate, and mentor staff, oversee service quality, and help implement efficient dining procedures within regulatory guidelines.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, adherence to health and safety standards, and collaboration with other departments to maintain a supportive community environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus two years related work experience.
• Knowledge of health regulations and safe food handling practices.
• Colorado IDs and certifications or willingness to obtain them.

Responsibilities

• Supervise dining room and serving staff; hire, schedule, evaluate, counsel, and terminate as needed.
• Direct supervision of staff; provide timely performance feedback and evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with Mesa County and Colorado health regulations for food handling.
• Plan and implement procedures to improve dining room service and efficiency.
• Oversee guest meal charges and daily/monthly meal counts.
• Prepare reports and maintain necessary paperwork.
