Job summary

MBK Senior Living is hiring a Dining Room Supervisor to oversee dining room operations under the Director of Dining Services andExecutive Chef. This role ensures cleanliness, scheduling, training, and top-notch service during meals, leading a team to deliver an exceptional resident dining experience.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, 1+ year dining room experience, and certifications in food safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• College degree or education in food service/management is preferred.
• First Aid, Food Handler’s and ServSafe certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee dining room cleanliness and readiness in compliance with health regulations.
• Lead and develop the dining team through coaching and training.
• Create staff schedules and supervise dining staff for professional service.
• Assist with serving, bussing, and resetting tables as needed.
• Elevate resident satisfaction by surveying residents and implementing improvements.
• Greet and seat residents, including new arrivals, to ensure a welcoming dining experience.
• Monitor meal tracking and ensure accurate charges to the business office.
• Report safety or equipment issues to management promptly.
