Job summary

The Glenview at Pelican Bay in Naples, FL is seeking a Dining Room Supervisor to oversee food and beverage service with a focus on outstanding hospitality. The role includes coordinating seating, leading pre-shift lineups, and staffing assignments for dinner service, ensuring high standards and accurate POS operations.

Candidates should have at least one year of Host/Hostess or Lead Server experience in fine dining, strong communication with residents and staff, and a health/alcohol compliance

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• A minimum of one year Host/Hostess or Lead Server experience in fine dining.
• Ability to interpret and explain menu and coordinate meal service.
• Effective communication with residents, families, staff and management.
• State health and/or alcohol compliance card required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate seating for residents and guests in an efficient, courteous manner.
• Lead daily pre-shift lineup for dinner service and prepare servers for service.
• Schedule stations and work assignments for wait staff to ensure standards.
• Record meal counts and reservations; manage POS system knowledge.
• Consult with the Director of Food & Beverage on dining room status.
