Job summary

The Server position at MBK Senior Living provides high-quality dining service to residents, ensuring meals meet dietary needs and resident preferences while maintaining a welcoming dining environment.

You will handle table service, assist with menu selections, and support kitchen operations. Strong communication, reliability, and cooperation are essential to deliver a positive dining experience for residents.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills with residents, families, and team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced dining environment while maintaining professionalism.
• Basic counting and serving equipment operation knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Deliver dining service with accurate orders and courteous service.
• Uphold table etiquette by serving from the left, clearing between courses, and resetting tables.
• Assist residents with meal choices and dining needs as requested.
• Review dietary needs and preferences as outlined by the Supervisor.
• Monitor attendance and coordinate with team for safety checks when residents are absent.
• Create a welcoming atmosphere by greeting and seating residents, including new arrivals.
• Deliver meals to rooms as needed and maintain room service when required.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary dining area and comply with food safety protocols.
• Assist with stocking dining supplies and support kitchen and dining operations.
• Support community marketing through positive interactions and professional presentation.
• Promptly report safety or equipment issues to the Supervisor.
• Adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements governing the department.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
