Job summary

The Aspenwood Company in Village of the Heights seeks a Dining Room Supervisor to lead the front-of-house team, ensuring top-notch service for residents and guests. You will train staff, manage schedules, and coordinate with back-of-house for timely, accurate orders while maintaining a welcoming dining environment.

Candidates should have 1–2 years supervisory experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a food handler certification; proficient with Word and email; background check and drug

Qualifications

• Accredited food handler certification within 60 days.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and email.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–2 years of related supervisory experience.
• Great customer service and ability to interact with staff, residents, and guests.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions; work independently or in a team.
• Pre-employment background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead day-to-day activities of the front-of-house team; train staff.
• Manage staff schedules and coverage to ensure adequate staffing.
• Coordinate between front-of-house and back-of-house for timely, accurate resident and guest orders.
• Maintain dining room cleaning and setup to company standards for meals and events.
• Greet residents and guests warmly and ensure they feel valued.
• Maintain dining room smallware, tableware, and linen; conduct inventory checks.
• Address resident suggestions to improve dining services; participate in quality assurance audits.
• Support safety by assisting residents and maintaining service flow.
• Explain menu items to residents and guests; be active in emergency response team.
• Maintain professional appearance per company policies.
