Job summary

Fellowship Square Christian Care is seeking a Dining Room Supervisor to lead the dining services team and ensure residents receive excellent meal service in a warm, attentive environment.

You will oversee daily dining room operations, manage servers, and ensure meals are served safely and on time while accommodating dietary needs. Prior leadership in food service and a Food Handler's Card are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Food Handler's Card or ability to obtain one within a certain period after hire.
• 1–2 years of food service or hospitality experience, including some leadership or supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Dining Staff Lead and support servers to provide excellent service.
• Manage Meal Service: Ensure meals are served on time and meet residents' needs.
• Assist with Menu Planning: Work with the kitchen to accommodate dietary restrictions.
• Maintain Cleanliness & Safety: Keep the dining area clean and safe.
• Train & Support Staff: Provide training to new dining room team members.
• Ensure Resident Satisfaction: Check in with residents to ensure they enjoy their meals.
• Coordinate with Kitchen: Communicate meal changes or special requests to the kitchen.
• Assist with Meals: Help serve meals and assist residents with eating when needed.
• Manage Inventory: Keep dining supplies stocked and ready.
• Maintain Records: Document meal services and resident feedback.

We are seeking a Dining Room Supervisor to lead our dining services team and ensure that residents receive excellent meal service in a warm, attentive environment.

In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of the dining room, manage a team of servers, and ensure that meals are served efficiently, safely, and in accordance with residents’ dietary needs and preferences.

• Supervise Dining Staff Lead and support servers to provide excellent service.
• Manage Meal Service Ensure meals are served on time and meet residents' needs.
• Assist with Menu Planning Work with the kitchen to accommodate dietary restrictions.
• Maintain Cleanliness & Safety Keep the dining area clean and safe.
• Train & Support Staff Provide training to new dining room team members.
• Ensure Resident Satisfaction Check in with residents to ensure they enjoy their meals.

• Assist with Meals Help serve meals and assist residents with eating when needed.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills with residents, families, and staff.

• Compassionate and patient with seniors.
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and assist with meal service.
