Job summary

Fellowship Square is seeking compassionate Waitstaff to join our dining services team serving our senior residents in Mesa. You will greet residents, serve meals according to dietary guidelines, and keep the dining room tidy.

This role supports kitchen coordination, ensures safe sanitation, and provides friendly, high-quality service. Requires 16+ years old, HS diploma or equivalent, ability to lift trays, and a positive, team-driven attitude.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Must possess Food Handlers Card or obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Previous experience in waitstaff, food service, or hospitality preferred.
• Passion for working with seniors and providing excellent customer service.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety and sanitation procedures.
• Ability to lift, carry, and serve food trays as required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist residents in a courteous and professional manner during meal times.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary guidelines and special requests.
• Set tables, clear dishes, and ensure the dining room is clean and organized.
• Assist in the preparation and delivery of meals to residents' rooms when needed.
• Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate meal orders and requests are met.
• Ensure that dining areas are safe, clean, and well-maintained at all times.
• Respond to resident requests and special needs with a helpful and friendly attitude.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards to ensure safe meal service.
• Assist with other tasks as needed to support the dining services department.
