Job summary

All American Assisted Living at Washington Township is seeking a dining services team member to provide warm, attentive service to residents in a professional, indoor dining environment.

You will take orders, serve meals and beverages, clear tables, and assist with dish room tasks while ensuring safety and cleanliness. This role emphasizes teamwork and compassionate interaction with older adults.

What You'll Do

• Greet residents warmly and provide friendly, attentive service
• Set and prepare dining room tables before meals
• Help residents find comfortable seating
• Take meal and beverage orders
• Explain available menu options when needed
• Serve meals, beverages, desserts, coffee and tea
• Refill water and offer additional servings
• Clear and reset tables between meals
• Help keep the dining room clean, organized and welcoming
• Assist in the dish room, including operating the dishwasher and putting away clean dishes
• Safely store and return walkers and other mobility devices
• Attend required meetings and in-service training
• Work cooperatively with residents, families, visitors and coworkers
• Complete other dining service duties as assigned
