All-American-Assisted-Living in Coram, NY, is seeking a dining services assistant to create a welcoming dining experience for residents. You will greet residents, take orders, serve meals and beverages, and help clear and reset tables while keeping the dining room clean and organized.

Ideal candidates enjoy working with older adults, have good communication and teamwork skills, and can stand and walk for extended periods. Previous food service experience is helpful but not required.

Responsabilités

What You'll Do

• Greet residents warmly and provide friendly, attentive service
• Set and prepare dining room tables before meals
• Help residents find comfortable seating
• Take meal and beverage orders
• Explain available menu options when needed
• Serve meals, beverages, desserts, coffee and tea
• Refill water and offer additional servings
• Clear and reset tables between meals
• Help keep the dining room clean, organized and welcoming
• Assist in the dish room, including operating the dishwasher and putting away clean dishes
• Safely store and return walkers and other mobility devices
• Attend required meetings and in-service training
• Work cooperatively with residents, families, visitors and coworkers
• Complete other dining service duties as assigned
