Job summary

All American Assisted Living in Oregon is seeking a friendly dining service team member to create a welcoming dining experience for residents. You will take meal orders, serve meals and beverages, clear and reset tables, and assist with dish room duties, ensuring a clean and inviting dining area.

This role emphasizes compassionate service to older adults, teamwork with staff and a reliable, punctual presence in a climate-controlled indoor environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents warmly and provide attentive service.
• Set and prepare dining room tables before meals.
• Help residents find comfortable seating.
• Take meal and beverage orders.
• Explain available menu options when needed.
• Serve meals, beverages, desserts, coffee and tea.
• Refill water and offer additional servings.
• Clear and reset tables between meals.
• Keep the dining room clean, organized and welcoming.
• Assist in the dish room, including operating the dishwasher.
• Attend required meetings and trainings.
• Work cooperatively with residents, families, visitors and coworkers.
• Complete other dining service duties as assigned.

What You'll Do
