Job summary

Weatherly Inn seeks a Dining Room Supervisor to lead front-of-house staff and ensure excellent resident service in our senior living community.

You will supervise servers, coordinate dining operations, and support daily service while working closely with nursing and administration. A strong lead with attention to safety, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction is essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in food service or hospitality; leadership/mentoring experience preferred
• Food Handler's Permit required
• Strong leadership, conflict resolution, multitasking, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, mentor, and evaluate front-of-house staff
• Assign sections, monitor service flow, and ensure resident satisfaction
• Responsible for creating the schedule and knowing which servers are on schedule and assigning sections on a rotating basis
• Review communication logs and meal bookings; coordinate special diets and events
• Assist servers with table setting and breakdown as appropriate, making sure clean linen is available, and ordering from linen supplier
• Monitor safety standards, cleanliness, and equipment use
• Communicate with nursing regarding incidents or resident needs
• Perform other duties as assigned

Position Overview

The Dining Room Supervisor leads front-of-house staff, ensures excellent customer service, and supports daily dining operations. This role requires leadership, attention to detail, and hands-on participation in service.

Key Responsibilities
