Meals on Wheels Orange County in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking a Part Time Dining Program Supervisor. The role oversees day-to-day operations of the Dining Program, including meal prep, serving, and volunteer coordination, with a 25-hour work week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

You will supervise staff and volunteers, ensure safety and sanitation, manage records, and support outreach to increase program attendance.

Experience supervising staff and volunteers.
Must be able to read, interpret and implement regulations, policies, and procedures.
Must be able to maintain complex records and data.

Mansioni

Responsible for kitchen, food, and serving supplies, which includes ordering, receiving, and storage of supplies for lunch time meal service.
Recruits, trains, supervises, and evaluates staff and volunteers.
Organizes and implements daily programs for participants (educational speakers, fitness, safety, music, etc.).
Monitors staff that take food temperatures and maintain temperature control charts.
Checks food upon arrival for accurate delivery and proper meal prep as menu prescribes.
Ensures sanitary cleaning and locking up of supplies at end of day.
Maintains records and reports related to personnel, expenses, attendance, donations, outreach.
Handles meal donations and deposits.
Supports outreach and public relations to increase attendance.
Develops relationships with community groups and agencies.
Identifies senior needs for supportive services and provides referrals.
Attends staff meetings and training sessions.
