Job summary

Sunnyside-Presbyterian-Home is seeking a Food & Beverage Manager to direct Highlands Dining in Harrisonburg. You will oversee daily dining operations, staffing, budgets, menu cycles, and quality control to ensure exceptional resident and guest experiences.

The role requires supervisory experience in food service, knowledge of food safety, and strong leadership and communication skills within a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of two years of supervisory experience in the food service industry.
• Ability to serve as an ABC Manager as required.
• Knowledge of nutrition principles and menu planning.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, ABC laws and regulations, food preparation methods, and housekeeping practices.

• Direct daily dining operations and set goals for assigned dining venues.
• Ensure high-quality food, service, and customer satisfaction.
• Respond professionally to resident and customer needs, questions, and concerns.
