Job summary

Sunnyside Communities is seeking a Hospitality Manager (Dining) to lead and supervise the Dining Services team, ensuring high-quality meals and excellent resident service. This is a working supervisor role with hands-on operations and rotating staffing support to address call-outs and shortages.

The position requires schedule flexibility, including weekend coverage, and the ability to adapt hours based on departmental needs, staffing, and operational coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of college or two years’ experience in related food service position preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent leadership to Dining Services team while ensuring policy compliance.
• Review staffing schedules and coordinate coverage for call-outs and absences.
• Supervise kitchen, dish room, and dining room operations to ensure quality food and resident satisfaction.
• Coach and develop team members with ongoing feedback and performance management.
• Assist with daily operations and rotating staffing support to ensure uninterrupted resident service.
