Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is hiring a dining-server for our senior living residences. The role includes serving meals, assisting with menu choices and beverages, and helping with tray service while maintaining a clean dining area.

Applicants should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for periods, and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Harmony emphasizes training, respect, and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Must read and follow simple instructions accurately.
• Clear and effective communication with residents and staff.
• Ability to work well in a team and support colleagues.
• Good personal hygiene and ability to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals courteously to residents and guests and assist with dining room cleanup.
• Assist residents with menu selections and beverage service.
• Provide beverages and refill condiments as needed.
• Report broken equipment or tableware to supervisor.
• Assist with tray service and understand sit-down serving techniques.
• Follow storage and labeling guidelines for food items.
• Sweep, mop and vacuum kitchen and dining areas; attend required trainings.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and interact respectfully.
