Job summary

Ashby Ponds by Erickson Senior Living is hiring Dietary Aides / Dining Server at our Ashburn senior living community. You will join a structured, team-based dining operation focused on care, consistency, and connection for residents.

The role emphasizes assisting with preparation, stocking, serving, and post-meal duties to ensure residents receive proper nutrition in a calm, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of experience in a food service environment is preferred, but will train if no experience.
• Able to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible with schedule, available to work some weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome residents upon their arrival at the restaurant.
• Coordinate with seaters to help servers and kitchen staff work efficiently.
• Assist with preparation, stocking, serving, and post-meal clean-up.
• Ensure all residents receive adequate nutritional intake.
• Answer phones professionally and follow up on requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the front of the house and kitchen.
• Assist in training the wait staff.
