Qualifications

• Experience in visual and dimensional inspection of castings.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Certification in inspection (Visual/Dimensional or UTT) required or preferred.
• Proficient in using precision measuring tools and interpreting CMM reports.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspects castings to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Dimensionally inspects castings using calipers, micrometers and gauges.
• Interprets CMM reports and applies results to production decisions.
• Marks castings for rework and documents findings clearly.
• Adjusts fixtures and tools to calibration standards.
• Performing straightening and related tasks as needed.
