Precision Castparts seeks a quality inspector to identify visual and dimensional flaws in castings and to ensure conformance with customer specifications.

The role requires certification in visual/dimensional inspection and UTT, with preferred experience in straightening, targeting, grinding or CMM disposition. You will inspect, record data, and support part routing to maintain production flow.

Qualifikationen

• Requires current certification in visual/dimensional inspection and UTT inspection.
• Preferred: experience in straightening, targeting, grinding or CMM disposition.
• Strong math calculation ability and blueprint reading skills.
• Clear written and spoken communication; ability to work independently and in a team.

Aufgaben

• Visually and dimensionally inspect castings to customer specs.
• Check hardness using Brinell/Rockwell equipment.
• Set up castings on fixtures and surface plates; document findings.
• Straighten castings with appropriate tools to meet tolerances.
• Interpret CMM reports and maintain non-conformance records as needed.
