Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Dimensional Inspector ll for the D Shift (Weekend Night Shift) in Huntsville, AL. You will program, set up, operate, and assist multiple inspection technologies and perform first article, in-process, and final inspections on aerospace components.

You will provide dimensional data feedback, document discrepancies, and maintain calibration records while supporting process improvements in a safe manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years of experience in dimensional inspection of aerospace components.
• Blue light experience and data analysis.
• Blueprint reading skills with GD&T per ASME Y14.5-2009.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient with precision hand tools, gauges, optical comparator, and surface plate work.
• Experience inspecting tight tolerance, high value components.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to earn trust and work collaboratively in an inclusive culture.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Program, setup, operate, and assist multiple inspection technologies (Blue Light, Taylor Hobson, Romer arm).
• Perform first article, in-process, final, and receiving inspections.
• Provide feedback to machinists and engineers with dimensional data.
• Document and track discrepancy reports; maintain calibration records.
• Support process improvements and maintain file/configuration control; ensure safe operation in an industrial environment.
