Qualifications

• High School diploma or higher with 7+ years experience in accuracy control
• Associates degree with 5+ years experience in ship construction
• Bachelors or higher with 3+ years experience in precision fabrication

Responsibilities

• Perform complex duties requiring accuracy control and dimensional surveying in ship construction
• Serve as SME to resolve issues among technicians and project personnel
• Develop and maintain documentation for accurate construction and erection of foundations, components, assemblies
• Maintain knowledge of fitting and welding techniques to support construction guidance and continuous improvement
• Coordinate daily work assignments and participate in process improvement activities
• Review and approve technical documentation produced by team members for release to production
