HII’s Ingalls Shipbuilding Division in Pascagoula, MS is seeking workers able to lay out, fabricate, and assemble tooling and fixtures for shipbuilding. You will perform precision surveys and use CAD tools to support design and production, ensuring tight tolerances across complex assemblies.

The role emphasizes planning from drawings, setting up optical inspections, and preparing shop drawings for fabrication teams.

Formación

• High School diploma or above.
• 0 years of experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Lay out, fabricate, and assemble a variety of standard and nonstandard major jigs, fixtures, tool masters, master tooling gauges, and related tooling to exact tolerances.
• Perform measurement surveys using photogrammetry, total stations, laser trackers or other electronic 3‑D instruments.
• Use CAD software for design and review of tooling and fixtures.
• Plan work from tool design drawings or own designs and determine methods and sequence of operations.
• Set up and operate optical instruments to check alignment, fit, or adjustment of assemblies.
• Prepare shop drawings covering parts fabrication and assembly to be performed by others.
