Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal in Boston is seeking a Manager in PEPI to lead major diligence workstreams, translating high-level hypotheses into structured analyses and coaching teams to deliver insight-rich outputs.

You will own 1–2 core workstreams (e.g., Market Attractiveness, Customer & GTM, Competitive Dynamics), design analytical approaches, manage consultants, ensure thorough analytical rigor, and synthesize findings into clear implications for the deal thesis, collaborating with the Director on

Qualifications

• MBA from a top-tier business school (or equivalent experience).
• 4–6 years of experience in strategy consulting, PE, or adjacent roles.
• Strong problem-structuring and analytical leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Own 1–2 core workstreams (e.g., Market Attractiveness, Customer & GTM, Competitive Dynamics)
• Design analytical approaches within assigned workstreams
• Manage Consultants and Associates within the workstream
• Ensure analytical rigor, coherence, and insight quality
• Synthesize findings into clear implications for the deal thesis
• Partner closely with the Director on issue framing and prioritization
